Warfare begins with a 50/50 split of the map between two teams as they try to push each other's defenses back in order to gain more control. Hurtgen Forest will be the playable map with the game mode Warfare available to take part in. The PlayStation open beta begins next weekend (9/16 - 9/20) and will give players just a taste of what to expect in the final game. Playing a Part: Fourteen roles are available for players to experience, from engineers and snipers, commanders and tank crewmen, medics, and support all play a part in the war effort. Unique metagame: Extended battles entrench participants in the tidal-like motion of the frontline that builds up Hell Let Loose’s real-time strategy-inspired metagame.

The brutality of the War in Europe: Hell Let Loose portrays the battles of the Western Front across two distinct modes, Offensive and Warfare.Īuthentic strategic gameplay: Each side of 50 players is broken down into armor, infantry, and recon, led by officers with a direct line to an overall player-commander directing the flow of the game.

HELL LET LOOSE UPDATE 9 PC
Update: I can confirm that crossplay is subject to consoles exclusively with no plans on PC being included. It’ll be interesting to see if PC will also be included in cross-play at some point, but there has been no confirmation at this time. The game will also feature cross-play functionality between consoles to really bring players together. I’m extremely interested to see how this title transfers over from its PC origins over to consoles. We recently reviewed the game’s Steam release and fell in love with just how well it was executed, giving it a 9.5/10. With the ongoing closed beta for the PlayStation 5 (extended beyond September 6th), it was announced by Black Matter and Team17’s Hell Let Loose is hitting next-gen consoles, October 5th.
